In 1976, the seminal lineup of Motörhead was solidified a year after the bandâs initial inception. The âthree amigosâera of Motörhead; Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil âPhilthy Animalâ Taylor (drums), joined forces and began their extraordinary journey to the top of the hard rock elite. In August of that year, the band set up at Emerson, Lake & Palmerâs legendary Manticore Studio in Fulham to rehearse and showcase their new lineup. Now, 49 years after recording there for the first time, the long-lost tape has been discovered, dusted off and restored in all its raw glory to celebrate the bandâs 50th anniversary.
