CATBITE âDOOM GARDENâ EP - ORANGE
LABEL: Distance Company
VINYL RELEASE DATE: 05/30/2025
ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE: 2025
VARIANT: 12" EP, Orange Vinyl, Etched B-Side
Now, Catbite is set to release their most ambitious project yet: 'Doom Garden', out May 9, 2025, via Bad Time Records. Produced by Grammy winner Sarah Tudzin (boygenius, illuminati hotties), the EP showcases the band's growth and evolving songwriting. Inspired by Hieronymus Boschâs 'The Garden of Earthly Delights', vocalist Brit Luna reflects on themes of self-exploration and morality. "Itâs really difficult to look inward and feel like youâre a terrible person," Luna shares. "These songs helped me begin to heal parts of myself that I had long forgotten or pushed away. Being human is hard, but itâs not all bad."
The EP also features collaborations that see Catbiteâs sound expand even further, including a track co-written and performed with Fall Out Boyâs Patrick Stump and guest vocals from Zayna Youssef of Sweet Pill. With 'Doom Garden', Catbite continues to evolve, cementing their place as one of the most exciting bands in modern ska and beyond.
