Standout cuts like “Cirice,” “From the Pinnacle to the Pit” and “He Is” mash up doomy, slow-burning metal with elements of psychedelia, goth, shock rock and shimmery pop to stunning effect. Having already won famous fans in James Hetfield and Dave Grohl, Ghost weren’t bona fide arena headliners yet, but they were well on their way.
